FUNDRAISING

Our fundraising strategy is simple, a Fall Annual Give Campaign followed by a Jog-a-thon in the Spring. Between these two events, we currently fund several programs that are beloved at PacRim and offer a Top 10 elementary school in California experience for our students.

As a 501c3 organization, all donations made to Friends of Pacific Rim PTO are tax-deductible, and go directly to supporting student and staff programs at Pacific Rim. EIN 33-0853215

What do we need? We continue our tradition of raising $250 per student to offer our suite of specials programming for our students.

Where do our donations go?

Credentialed Assistants are especially important to help our K-3 grade students to reduce class size into smaller groups and support students to get to, or exceed grade-level requirements.

PE Teacher: Did you know without the funding of the PTO, we wouldn’t have a PE teacher at our school? We fund weekly PE classes for all students, including Kinderate for our Kinder
students!

Science Teacher: Carlsbad Education Foundation offers grant funding for biweekly science classes in 4th & 5th grade only. The PacRim PTO funds biweekly science classes for students in 1st through 3rd grade, so students engage in science throughout their
time at PacRim and utilize our new STEAM lab.

And so much more including: Art, classroom supplies, new chromebooks, special ed resources, and campus improvements.

Corporate Donations are always gratefully accepted!

Other ways to support our school are by participating in our Community Connection Events, choosing Friends of Pacific Rim as your charity of choice on AmazonSmile and Kroger Community Rewards

The Pac Rim Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) presents and discusses the annual budget at the beginning of the fiscal year and at our quarterly campus meetings. PTO meetings are open to the entire school community. Check the school calendar for our next meeting to attend!
