We are thrilled to be back on campus for the 2021/22 school year! That means the return of several of our beloved programs, which are funded 100% through the Friends of PacRim PTO.
Our fundraising strategy is simple, a Fall Annual Give Campaign followed by a Spring event (either Readathon or Jogathon, depending on current health guidance). That’s it! No candy or wrapping paper sales or annual galas.
As a 501c3 organization, all donations made to Friends of Pacific Rim PTO are tax-deductible, and go directly to supporting student and staff programs at Pacific Rim.
What do we need? Just like prior school year’s, we are asking to raise $250 per student this school year to pay for all of the amazing programs we offer.
Where do our donations go?
Credentialed Assistants are especially important during the 2021/22 school year to help our K-3 grade students to reduce class size into smaller groups, support students to get back up to grade level following any learning loss that took place over the past 21 months.
PE Teacher: Did you know without the funding of the PTO, we wouldn’t have a PE teacher at our school? We are ecstatic to have our Specials return to PacRim, and are looking forward to starting PE again.
Science Teacher: CEF pays for every other week science classes for all grades, but at PacRim, our upper grades get to enjoy Science on a weekly basis using our newly upgraded STEAM lab! The PTO funds the gap, so science is enjoyed weekly for 4th & 5th grades.
And so much more including: Art, Classroom supplies, Technology, Special Ed, Kinderati, and a one time PTO Funding Grant to each grade level.

The Pac Rim PTO presents and discusses the annual budget at the beginning of the fiscal year, and monthly meetings are held to propose and approve spending as the year progresses. PTO meetings are open to the entire school community and held on the last Friday of the month. We welcome all to join!
